Snapper and pearl perch closure has started 15th July – 15th August 2023 no reason to worry we have plenty of other great species to target including – tusk fish, scarlet perch, hussar, sweet lip, cobia, amberjack and red emperor. Just to name a few.
There seems to be a fair amount of snapper and pearl perch around, its good to see they have arrived on the local and outer reefs off the Sunshine Coast breeding to improve the snapper stocks.
